Maths is all around us, from the traffic flow management system on the motorway to the global weather patterns and forecasts – there is no getting away from maths. For some there is a mathematical answer to everything, others see it as a great start to a graduate career.

Mathematicians and statisticians are in high demand – a recent graduate survey by the IMA found that mathematics graduates have the lowest levels of unemployment and earn approximately 25% above the graduate average.

Our mathematics courses aim to give a solid grounding in the methods of modern applicable mathematics, as well as bringing out the intrinsic beauty of mathematical ideas.
